First, when dealing with the tastes of regular customers, my goal is to cater to those who are my true regulars. What I mean by a “true regular” is someone who buys several boxes a month or is a very frequent buyer. These customers are highly profitable, as they know their cigars and understand what they are buying. Each region and location has customers with different tastes and requirements. Traditional retail stores need to establish a loyal following of customers and cater to their needs in order to be successful. The second element of success in retail is managing inventory.
